DATO' DR. SHEIKH OMAR ABDUL RAHMAN
President

Dato' Dr Sheikh Omar has spent the last 30 years in teaching and training. His initial training was in veterinary pathology in the Australia, Canada and England. He retired from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2001 as a professor and dean. For his significant contributions to the country, he has been bestowed with many royal awards including Dato' Paduka Setia Mahkota Kelantan.

Dato' Dr Sheikh Omar is now the President Elect of the Malaysian Association of Professional Speakers. He has spoken at numerous public and private corporations throughout Malaysia on leadership, motivation, team building, change management, time management, quality management system and parenting. He is a people person. His mission is to inspire by teaching and communicating passion, persuasion, and purpose. He believes that by encouraging and communicating in an entertaining, upbeat, and positive way, people will begin to wake up and take responsibility for their total well being and hence fully realize their dreams.

He is dynamic, insightful, provocative and entertaining. He delivers practical knowledge, useful tools and motivation that last. He involves the audience in the subject matter, whether it covers problem solving, office politics, or change. He challenges his audience assumptions and tickles their sense of humor.
